We are a top-of-the-line Texas Rising Star Childcare center in Houston, Texas.
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
No, our teachers and staff have a long employment tenure of 8-10 years employed here at HIGHLAND.
Our director has over 17 years of experience in the childcare industry and employed here at Highland for over 10 years. Our director has a bachelor's degree in human services and a master's degree. Ms. Cormier is highly educated and experienced.
We offer Childcare, Pre-K 3&4, Kindergarten, and an afterschool program.
We care for children ages 2 Weeks - 12 Years of Age.
Yes, we offer part-time care options for families who need it. (Part-time care is offered on a case-by-case basis.) Please speak with the Director or front office administration in reference to Part-time Care.
Every age group is charged a different tuition rate. Sibling enrollments with 2 or more children may be eligible for a sibling discount as a group.
Yes, we accept government funded childcare subsidies now known as a child state scholarship and formally known as NCI.
Our center will serve your child breakfast, Lunch, P.M. Snack, & Dinner.
Yes, you may choose to bring a lunch for your child on selective days due to allergies or choice of foods.
Tuition is due every Monday and late on Tuesdays. If tuition is not paid on time, your child's account will be charged a $25.00 late fee.
Our center does not offer weekend care; however, we do have another center that does offer early/late hours and Saturday care. (Please inquire inside).
To register your family, you will be required to bring a $75.00 application fee (This will cover the whole family), your child's immunization record, birth certificate or birth facts, & a copy of the guardian's license or identification.
We do not accept checks. Payments may be made through your online parent portal or by debit or credit card at the front office.
Yes. Our center does have recording cameras and may be viewed anytime upon request of the parent.
Yes. Parents may visit the center anytime desired. We employ an open-door policy where parents may visit, volunteer, attend events, or speak with the teachers at anytime.
Yes, we are a (4) Star T.R.S. Center and licensed & regulated through The Texas Depart of Health & Human Services. We also accept NCI or Financial Assistance Scholarships for children through Texas Workforce Solutions. We accept government supplemental programs for low-income families.
Yes. We are open the entire year except for most major holidays & weekends. We will send out notices for upcoming closures & events. You may also visit our calendar here on our website or read our monthly newsletter detailing closures & events.
